Tatyana Neufeld owns and runs New Field Yoga in the Financial District in Manhattan. Tatyana gears the schedule around their primary customers, who are people living and working in the Financial District, so they offer more classes before and after work and at lunch times. They typically offer 40-50 classes a week.

Here, Molly Southern from GramercyOne talks to Tatyana about New Field and how SpaBooker helps her business.

What makes New Field Yoga different?

“New Field Yoga is the first and only yoga studio in the financial district. It is a traditional studio with different classes and levels for all ages. The goal is to make yoga available to everyone in the most stressful area of Manhattan.”

“Scheduling the classes” Tatyana likes how SpaBooker makes the information more accessible for all students.“They can spend time reading about instructors, seeing pictures, becoming familiar with the studio. This is especially great for new students, because they can choose the class that is right for them and then book instantly, whether they are at their office, on their lunch break, or on their smartphone.It’s really simple and easy to register for classes.”


Do you know how much SpaBooker has helped improve your business?

“There has been an increase in people registering on their own, but I do not have exact numbers.” This increase allows Tatyana to do other work and create promotions. “I don’t spend as much time answering phones and emails or registering walk-ins before classes.”


Where do you use SpaBooker?

"Most of the time I use SpaBooker at the front desk of the studio. If I have extra work, I access SpaBooker on my laptop. And when I’m in a hurry and need to do a quick check for bookings or the schedule, I use my BlackBerry.”


Do you think your customers like the ease of having an online account and being able to log in and schedule classes?

“Yes, yes. They mention this to me all the time. Customers say, ‘Great software you are using for scheduling. I prefer your program over MindBody’.”
