Does SpaBooker integrate with my existing software?
SpaBooker is a complete, stand alone spa management solution. It is a replacement for any existing desktop based software that your spa may be running. SpaBooker runs through an internet browser so there is nothing for you to install or maintain.

What is web based software?
A web-based software solution (SaaS) will change the way you view and manage your business. Being web-based allows you to access your account anytime, anywhere. Unlike other software, SpaBooker has no limitations on terminals and logins. So whether you are in the facility, at another location, or out of the country, you will always be able to monitor your appointment book, run reports, and track your daily processes as long as you gain access to a computer with internet. Plus, one of the wonderful aspects of SpaBooker is that it's Operating System (OS) independent. Since there is no software to install, you can run SpaBooker on a Mac, on Windows, and even Linux. The only restriction is that you have to use Mozilla FireFox 3+ (our preferred browser which works with every popular OS) or Microsoft Internet Explorer 7+ (Windows only). That's it; Even our barcode scanner and magnetic stripe reader require no software installation. How's that for easy?

How difficult is it to switch systems? How much time?
Converting system is painless and our team does the heavy lifting for you! Your SpaBooker Implementation Manager can easily import your existing customer database. As long as you are able to export your customers out of your existing solution, we will be able to import them. Additionally, SpaBooker can also import all of your existing Gift Certificates, Products, Equipment, Rooms, and Appointments. Basically, if you are able to export the data out of your system in CSV, XML or any other common file format, we should be able to import it. From there we build the foundation of your account to mirror your day-to-day business operations. We advise to allow two weeks for implementation and training, but the faster you get us the information, the quicker your account will be built.
What is the cost? Can I pay upfront?
The cost for SpaBooker depends upon your business size and needs. SpaBooker is scalable and configurable to any size operation, whether you are a sole practitioner or managing 50+ employees. We require a nominal upfront fee which covers the implementation and training. Thereafter, the cost to use SpaBooker scales with your month-to-month gross revenue. Can this be used for salons too?
Absolutely. SpaBooker was first developed to meet the needs of the spa industry. But as our client base continues to expand, we frequently enhance the functionality for FREE to meet the needs of all our partners and operations which fall under the wellness category. Whether you are a day spa, medical spa, salon, yoga studio, fitness center, or a combination, SpaBooker gives you all the tools you need to efficiently manage your day-to-day spa operations.
If I am a SpaFinder partner, how does this benefit me?
If you are already advertising with SpaFinder, becoming a SpaBooker partner will enhance your visibility and exposure on the web-site. Not only will the 6 million SpaFinder unique users find you on SpaFinder.com, but they can now also book online in real-time straight from your listing. Additionally, SpaBooker will track your SpaFinder gift certificates and allows for easy, instant redemption at the point-of-sale.
How do I know my private information is secure?
SpaBooker was built from the ground up with our customer's data security first and foremost in our minds. The entire private SpaBooker site utilizes SSL 128bit security with Verisign issued certificates. Additionally, the entire SpaBooker system has been architected utilizing a redundant n-tier structure. What this means to you is that SpaBooker allows you to negate the issue of having a single point of failure. We have heard from a number of businesses that have lost all of their client data because of a common hard drive crash. Since all of your spa's data is mirrored across multiple servers at SpaBooker, and all of that data is in turn backed up to magnetic tape twice a day, multiple times per week - your data is secure.
Will I get training? How about support?
SpaBooker is highly esteemed for our fantastic customer and technical support. Every partner will receive comprehensive training with a Customer Support Representative. Training is done via an interactive web-share program. The number of trainings and support is dependent upon the tier level you sign-up for. What are real-time bookings?
Real-time bookings are not appointment requests. A client can search for your availability via your booking engine which instantly checks for vacant resources (i.e. technician, room, treatment, equipment, schedule). SpaBooker is your system, so you control the parameters of how far in advance an appointment can be booked and what appointments may be booked online.
Can clients or competitors see my appointment book?
No, only the parties with logins to your account will see your appointment book. For the customer perspective, the system will generate a limited number of appointment options based upon the preferences the consumer selected. This prevents both competitors and clients from seeing your entire availability.
Do I have to switch Merchant Card Processors to use SpaBooker?
The short answer is no. SpaBooker does have integrated merchant card processing built in to the system (for no additional cost), but it can also be used without integrated processing. We have several options for merchant processing in the event you are locked in a contract or prefer your existing acquirer’s rates. Additionally, before SpaFinder started the SpaBooker project, we polled hundreds of day spas in our program. One of our questions was "How much are you paying for credit card processing?" We found out that many spas, especially the ones with less than $700,000 a year in credit card receipts, were overpaying by as much as 2.0% on their credit card rates. By utilizing SpaFinder's sales volume we were able to negotiate far lower rates than what most spas can get by themselves and pass these savings through to our partners. What is your cancellation policy?
SpaBooker has no binding, long-term contract. Because we assess your fee on a month-to-month transactional basis, we have instituted a 30-days out cancellation policy. We will never keep your business information hostage and view our relationship as a partnership.
Do I need to change my website? Will you build my website?
You do not need to change your existing website because we supply you with all the tools (hyperlinks) you need to integrate your booking engine, eCommerce online store, class/workshop calendar, and Instant Gift Certificates into your website. We do not build websites, but our fantastic support team offers wonderful suggestions on how to enhance your site with booking engine visibility.
What is your hardware warranty return policy?
All unopened hardware is warranted for 30 days. If you are experiencing problems with your hardware, please contact SpaBooker Support for troubleshooting assistance prior to returning.
